How to link PAN card with Aadhaar card in home | New PAN card link with Aadhaar in mobile
Introduction
At present, PAN card is very important in all government income tax cases in India. It is considered as an identity card of any Indian citizen. And this identity card has no link with another important Aadhaar card, but in many cases there are problems.
Follow this Method
First Method
Step 1 = Open your Desktop or Mobile browser and search in Google https://www.incometax.gov.in/ when the official page loading then click on the left side Link Aadhaar option.
Step 2 = Fill in the following details
*PAN
*Aadhaar Number
*Name as AADHAAR (No spelling mistake)
*Fill the right captcha
*Then click on the Link Aadhaar option.
If the name, address or date of birth on the Aadhaar card is wrong in any way, it cannot be linked. Processing will be hampered. If the mobile number is linked to the Aadhaar card, then it can be linked online by changing it by otp via uidai, otherwise it is not possible to link.
2nd Method
Step 1= First you have to register your PAN card number income tax efilling portal. Click on the right side "Register yourself" option. If you already registered then click on the "Login Here" option.
Step 2= Login the e-filing portal of the income tax department by entering the user id (PAN Number), password & captcha.
Step 3= When you login in your dashboard then click on the right side top bar "Profile Setting" option and popup window open in this time then click on the "Link Aadhaar" option.
Step 4= Open new Link Aadhaar window. If all the information in the PAN card matches all the information in the Aadhaar card, i.e. the date of birth, spelling of the name, address, etc., then it will be verified automatically. Then fill in the blanks correct captcha and click on the link Aadhaar option.
Step 6= A popup window will open and a notification will show that your PAN card has been successfully linked to the Aadhaar card.
Linking of Aadhaar Number and PAN via SMS
Now you can link your Aadhaar and PAN through SMS also. The Income Tax Department has urged taxpayers to link their Aadhaar with their PAN, using an SMS-based facility. It can be done by sending an SMS to either 567678 or 56161. Send SMS to 567678 or 56161 from your registered mobile number in the following format:
UIDPAN<SPACE><12 digit Aadhaar><Space><10 digit PAN>
Example: UIDPAN 123456789123 AKPLM2124M
